We aim to improve the condition of and provide opportunities for children in Slovakia to have more fulfilling lives and personal growth. We support positive values and healthy lifestyles in the community. As well as promoting personal development and creativity, we aim for happiness and solidarity among kids and seek to create conditions for their self-realization. We involve children and youth in cultural, social and sport activities, supporting their imagination, creativity and personal development.

 

The civic organization Pro Vida carries out activities in the following areas:

 

We believe that well-rounded personal development during childhood is the basic requirement for a successful life and integration into society. Our activities are mainly focused on education and integration of children from disadvantaged groups into society. Handicapped children and those living in children’s homes are our primary target group.

 

We aim to expand children’s knowledge since we believe that it influences human culture and social integration. With our activities we seek to support children’s desire for understanding and continuously expand their knowledge and enrich their experiences.

 

Culture and art are valuable social events. We would like to support communication of positive values in the community through art and cultural events. We would also like to enable disadvantaged youth to have access to artistic education, whether in basic art schools or through other means.

 

Active sport is part of a healthy lifestyle. With our activities we would like to encourage sport among youth in schools.

 

Health is the basis for a valuable life. In cooperation with specialists and other non-profit organizations we develop activities and projects focused mainly on prevention of civilization and chronic illnesses among children, including asthma.
